Oven gloves are designed to handle hot objects especially to remove trays of food from the oven. Generally these are fabric gloves that are sold as singles and not in pairs. A typical oven glove is decorated with floral or a similar design. Modern oven gloves are coated with silicon in order to make them resistant to stains and water.

The difference of price is due to the technology and the material used. The applications for which they are designed also have a bearing on price. In case you are going to use your gloves in your kitchen when you bake things in the oven, a cheap oven glove will do.
